New Brown Rice

New Brown Rice

Ingredients Needed:

2 Cups of Brown Rice
2 Tbs. minced onion
2 Garlic Cloves, minced
2 Tbs. of canola oil or 1 Tbs. of E.V. Olive Oil
4 Cups of Hot Water


1. Place rice in a colander and rinse with cold water.

2. Heath the oil in a saucepan; medium heat.

3. Cook the onions for one minute. Add the garlic and cook until it is golden brown.

4. Add the rice; cook until golden brown.

5. Pour the hot water into the rice mixture; continue to stir.

6. Reduce it to low; place cover over saucepan and let it simmer until water is gone. Approx. 20-25.
