Ingredients

 

Country Crock - Light Margarine, 3 tsp

Onion - Raw, Chopped , 1/4 cup

Generic - Celery, Raw, Chopped (Correct), 0.33 cup (10grams)

Vegetable - Chopped Green Bell Pepper, 1/4 cup

Red Bell Pepper - Raw Chopped, 0.25 cup

Generic - Roma Tomato ~ Diced, 12 tsp

Broccoli - Raw, 0.25 cup, chopped

Swanson Unsalted Cooking Stock - Chicken (100% Natural No Msg Added), 240 mL ( 1 Cup)

Uncle Ben's - Natural Whole Grain Instant Brown Rice, 0.66 cup dry (About 1 cup cooked)

Spices - Basil, dried, 1 tsp, leaves

Spices - Garlic powder, 0.25 tsp

Spice - Black Pepper - Ground, 0.25 tsp

Tabasco - Original Hot Sauce, 1 tsp

Jennie-O - Breakfast Lover's Turkey Sausage, 4 oz

Eggs - White only, raw, 0.25 cup

Directions

Melt margarine in a large saucepan over medium heat. Stir in onion, celery, green & red pepper; cook until softened, about 5 minutes. Pour in diced tomatoes, broccoli, chicken broth, and rice; season with basil, garlic, pepper, and tabasco sauce. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, then turn heat to medium-low, cover, and simmer until the rice is done, about 20 minutes.

Once the rice has cooked, stir in cooked turkey sausage. Simmer for a few minutes until heated through.
